THE INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF TAIPING BUILDING FUND

We have set up an the Indian Association of Taiping, Perak Building Fund in order to erect a five storey building with lifts on a commercial land located at the hub of the Taiping town in Malaysia measuring approximately 90 feet times 72 feet, that is 6480 square feet area with the inclusion of the following :-

  • The Ground Floor will have parking bays.
  • The First Floor will have renowned restaurants providing famous Indian cuisine besides established franchise like Starbucks, The Coffee Bean and the likes.
  • The Second Floor will have a banquet hall, conference rooms with the state of the art video conferencing facilities and a library.
  • The Third Floor will have offices for NGO’s, modern meeting rooms and shoplots/offices for rental.
  • The Fourth Floor will have a multi-purpose hall with modern facilities catering for 700 people.
  • The Fifth Floor will house The Indian Association clubhouse which shall include a gym, restaurant, bar, sauna bath and hall for leisure.

The estimated cost of the new Indian Association Building is around RM 6 million (Ringgit Malaysia Six Million) only

We intend to raise the monies both locally and internationally and the building is scheduled to be completed within 3 years’ time

We have planned to manage the building upon completion by generating revenue from various sources.

 

INDIAN ASSOCIATION OF TAIPING EDUCATION FUND

  • We intend to create an Indian Association Education Fund with a base of RM 5 million (Ringgit Malaysia Five Million) only.
  • The RM 5 million will be deposited in a bank and interest generated will be used for the purposes of scholarship and grants for all needy and poor Indian students .
  • The monies will also be utilised for the purposes of conducting tuition classes besides using it for upgrading the Indian people educational standards.
  • Uplifting of the cultural and social practises, values and understandings.

CREATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADE BETWEEN VARIOUS COUNTRIES WHERE PEOPLE OF INDIAN ORIGIN EXIST

  • To create a pool of professionals and like-minded people who have interest in international trade, businesses and professions to link them up with people of Indian origin in other countries so as to create business opportunities and economic links as a way of uplifting our Indian communities.
  • To create a business hub which acts as a centre of communication for businesses, trade and others internationally
  • To assist young entrepreneurs kick start in the world of trade and businesses.

  • The Indian Association Building.
  • The setting up of An Indian Association Education Fund.
  • The setting up of an Ashram for the needy, poor and the infirm.
  • Having tuition classes in Tamil, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Having international student exchange programs between various countries for students of Indian origins.

  • Creating scholarships for Indian students for emplacements in local and foreign universities.
  • Enhancing international relations and understanding between countries where people of Indian origin exists.
  • Creating opportunities for international trade between various countries where people of Indian origin exist.
  • Creating leadership training and opportunities.
  • Organising tours for visits to local and international tourist destinations and places of interest.
  • Creating a unified response to all developments in various countries in various fields.

SETTING UP OF AN ASHRAM FOR THE POOR NEEDY AND THE INFIRM

  • We have future plans to set up an Ashram for about 100 people of Indian origin who are destitute, poor, needy and infirm.
  • The estimated cost would be about RM 3 million with the infrastructural facilities.
  • We need an additional RM 1 million for yearly management.
